Safe Development Concerns People's Well-being

Organized by the Sate Administration of Work Safety and the International Labour Organization, and undertaken by the National Center for International Exchange & Cooperation in Work Safety and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., the 4^th China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition (COS+H) has its grand opening at the New Hall of China National Agricultural Exhibition Center, Beijing on Nov. 17, 2008. Numerous trade players have been attacked to the event , as well as related officials from every provincial Administration of Work Safety, Coal Mine Safety Supervision Organization and the central government companies, which is led by the Sate Administration of Work Safety.

This show witnessed the exhibition area of 13,000m2 and the number of exhibitors of more than 200, of which, the number of overseas exhibitors is more than 80, and the rest 120 are domestic exhibitors. The exhibits contains individual protection equipments, and safety technologies & equipments concerning 20 fields, such as mining, chemical industry, transport, electric power and metallurgy. It has attracted the exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions, such as China, America, Germany, Japan, Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Business Platform Enriched by Forums and Special Zones

The theme of the Exhibition and Forum is "Safe Development Concerns People's Well-being". Presentation and exchange of ideas and experiences with regard to this theme will help us recognize the importance of improved work safety in a country's industrializing process and comprehend the laws and characteristics concerned, thereby enabling us to contribute to the cause of occupational safety and health in China and in the world.

As the top forum in the occupational work and health sector, the 4th China International Safety Work Forum & COS+H (2008) are co-hosted by the State Administration of Work Safety and the International Labor Organization. With its authoritative industry background, the organizing committee has prepared 3 policy popularizing meetings during the exhibition to provide directive references for the visitors and exhibitors. The topics will be “The Present Status of National Standard of Personal Protective Device in Our Country”, "The Management of Safety Mark", "Construction of the Chemical Accident Emergency Rescue System in Our Country". Besides, other fabulous concurrent events will be elaborately organized for our exhibition, such as monitoring and detection products demonstration zone, fashion show zone and night safety zone. Occupational accidents and natural disasters demonstration, comprehensive showcase of first aid facilities and technologies showcase, occupational uniform live show, technical seminars, and so on, will be present.

The China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition is held once for two years, which is an important event of the Sate Administration of Work Safety. It aims at broaden the opening to outside word, promote international promotion and cooperation, learn the advanced safety culture, concept, technology and experience from foreign countries, and improve safe work. After 6 years’ effort, COS+H has become the international exhibition of the largest scale, highest level and most professional in the Asia occupational safety and health sector .
